2012 Halleluiah !
So ready for a new year. Finishing out the first semester back to school full time with a 4.0 GPA. I thought I was going to be doing graphic design for a local company while going to school doing grocery inserts- steady pay and consistent- yeah no ! "I'm sorry, but we can't accommodate your school schedule. Sorry" Oh well- there's a $30,000 job gone. That's okay cuz in the long run, I'll be better doing what I am going to school for anyway. Love school. Love all of it. Okay- well , I didn't like doing MS Access....zzzzzzzzz... (Thank goodness, I'm not planning on going in that direction). I have met some really nice people at school and love my teachers. There are the exceptions, but would rather focus on the positive for now. Start back on the 11th and looking forward to a whole new schedule and getting into healthcare. Feel like I've been there for most of my life anyway (for some reason).
The art business is trickling along and have been able to do some traveling to Dayton, Ohio and met some wonderful new friends there. Ortho Advantage is owned by Jami and Andrea, physical therapists with character and charisma! Had fun while working and enjoyed my stay for sure.
Thanks also to McD's/Holiday Windows, Ron Parsons, Karen Kraemer, the Dinardo's, Temple High School's principal Karen Suddeth,Colleen Harrison, and Pit Stop Porta-Potties! I am an official Potty artist now with the new logo branded potty for the company................how fun ! rent and they will pay me $20-please!
Next........ school, illustrating a children's book, and doing paint by number series again ( thumbs up) ! Redesigned and update my logo and website- cleaner and more ME than before. Go take a look if you haven't yet...http://www.repettostudios.com
